"Green Tourmaline Test" Roving 2oz Spinning, Felting, Fiber Arts Supply, Wool, Silk, Sparkle

Colorways inspired by natural gems, minerals, and semi precious stones!

This test of Green Tourmaline is a beautifully faceted color meant to emulate the many shades of natural stone exhibits. While lovely, it isn't quite there yet for me. This test is a one off and is also available in batt form. Silk and long wool give this fiber gem luster, strength, and drape, while the finer wool provides elasticity and a bit of structure. A pinch of Angelina completes the illusion with a bit of flash.

Luxe roving is created in the same (just slightly scaled up) small batch processes that my Luxe Smooth Batts are made through. Hand selected fleeces washed by hand, dyed in the wool, and then milled in Northern Michigan. I am so excited to finally introduce this first collection of milled roving online.
